The first at Echuca on Monday (2/10) was a 3yo Fillies maiden over 1100m and provided the mighty Jungle Ruler with his first race winner.

The success of a stallion is ultimately measured by the success of his progeny on the racetrack, albeit some 3 or 4 years after he first arrives at stud.

It just feels like yesterday (or at least last week), when we were bringing the yearlings in to prepare for the Sales and here we are about to greet the first foals for 2017.
