Arrivals are starting to slow.

2021 Season
We are in the home straight with just 3 mares left in the waiting room. We have delivered 121 foals with 61 colts and 60 fillies and a big thank you to Jackie and Gina for their dedicated work on foal watch over night.

Apologies to everyone for the lack of updates to the foal gallery. Things got busy and the photos didn’t make it. Hope to have some updates in the next couple of weeks.

Stallions
Dandino (GB) had his first metropolitan winner during the month. ADANDIMAN saluted over 1400m at Sandown mid-week. He also becomes the first multiple winner for Dandino (GB), as he also won on debut. Read the article form Breednet about the win: Dandino's First Metropolitan Winner
Dandino (GB) also had a couple of very good runs from first / second starters. The Dandino (GB) progeny are starting to show their true colours.
Warhorse (NZ) had an excellent month with 5 WINNERS - SYMBOL OF COURAGE (x Jivochka) again saluting in Malaysia, STIRRUP (x Mukda Moonlight) notching up 2 wins during the month, ALL’S FAIR (x Heart to Heart), NEEDLEWORK (x Art And Craft) and I AM WAR (x Abahlali) all notching up their first wins. I AM WAR might be in a stakes race next start.
Jungle Ruler also had a WINNER during the month with THE SENTINEL (x Shelta) saluting.
A great month for the BOMBORA DOWNS stallions.

Nearing the Close of 2021
Another strange year with lockdowns and lockouts. We appreciate your support of Bombora Downs and the faith in our business to care for your horses even though you could not visit us. Hopefully the new year will be easier on everybody. From all at Bombora Downs, we wish you a happy and safe Christmas that can be enjoyed together with family and friends.
